A tundra dwelling system is inspired by an ideogram constructed from past precedents and project work.
Modular units are fit against a retaining wall, insulated by the snow. Units are combined in various orientations and panels are removed to create unique spaces.
The primary wall, snow, modular units, and panel systems can be combined to create a community of unique dwellings across the tundra region.
Dwelling and environment respond to each other, changing with snow accumulation over time. Dwelling is transitory, ephemeral.
