The E-bell is a collaboration with Fang Fang (architecture), Matt Fairis (city planning), and Fiona Ruddy (city planning). This Oakland housing development serves 265 families, with supportive housing dedicated to pregnant women and families with children under five. The E-bell was featured by the Terner Center for Housing Innovation.
The structure celebrates the module, massing prefabricated concrete homes around a central circulation courtyard.
